Tampa, Fla. – The undefeated USF Bulls, ranked 17 in the nation, and Houston will clash at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday at 3:45 p.m. for USF’s Salute to Service Game.
As part of the Salute to Service initiative, USF will provide 500 free tickets to service members at MacDill Air Force Base for USF’s final two home games, beginning Saturday vs. Houston. Free tickets will be provided to MacDill service members using funds from season ticket member who directed their refund from the rescheduled UMass game (due to Hurricane Irma).
USF will also honor military service members and first responders Saturday, including Junior linebacker Anthony Beko, a former enlisted marine who served in Afghanistan.
For Saturday’s game, USF will sport special uniforms based on the camouflage pattern of World War II era aircraft based at Henderson Air Field, which previously occupied the site of the USF campus.
Those attending Saturday’s game should expect larger than usual crowds. USF is running a $15 ticket deal for Celebrate Tampa Bay, good for all Tampa Bay area government employees, city or county.
Additionally, USF is providing 400 free parking spots for USF students with vehicles with four or more occupants on Saturday.
USF is one of eight remaining unbeaten teams in the nation, two of which reside in the American Athletic Conference. USF’s record 12-game win streak is the longest nationally.
